At Hughenden Industrial Supplies, we’re more than just a store—we’re a local, family-owned business committed to helping North West Queensland get the job done.
Owned and operated by Sarah and Aaron Zammit, Hughenden Industrial Supplies is proudly based at 2 Richmond Hill Drive, where we’ve built the region’s most comprehensive range of industrial, agricultural and trade supplies.
Sarah grew up mustering sheep and tailing weaners on a cattle station in Corfield—so when we say we understand rural life, we mean it. Aaron might be a ring-in from the city, but with a background in tools and gear at Milwaukee and Total Tools, he knows his way around the industrial world.
Together, they’ve created something pretty special: a supply store that’s stacked to the roof and backed by genuine service.
In 2021, Sarah and Aaron took over Hughenden General Carriers, the local overnight freight delivery agents. What started as a freight business quickly evolved into something more. They saw a gap—locals needed better access to quality tools, gear, steel, and ag supplies. So, they rolled up their sleeves and filled it.
More Than a Store
Today, Hughenden Industrial Supplies is proud to be part of the Tradesmart Industrial Group, giving us access to tens of thousands of products from top brands like Milwaukee, Makita, Castrol, Bordo, and Donaldson—just to name a few.
We don’t just stock the basics—we specialise in hard-to-find parts and custom orders. If it’s out there, we’ll track it down. And if it doesn’t exist? We’ll be honest about it (and maybe invent it one day).
Need steel? We’ve got tonnes of it.
Need something for the farm? Sorted.
Need coffee while you shop? Golden Lab Espresso—run by Sarah’s sister Hayley—serves up specialty ST. ALi coffee and sweet treats on-site.

We’re not just here to do business—we’re here to back our region. We’ve proudly contributed over $60,000 in sponsorships and countless hours of support to local events, schools, sporting clubs and community groups since we opened in 2021.
